when growth arises for me, i sometimes like to reflect by staring at myself in the mirror. a lot, actually. i share an open space with my reflection. if the inside has shed skin, so has the outer shell.
i like to stare into my own eyes and take in everything around me as a sign of encouragement, and as a moment in time to be grateful for everything i’ve accomplished, everything i’ve been through, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, even if it didn’t go as planned. as a moment in time to notice and appreciate my own natural beauty and to be captivated by it.
i’ve always been my own muse, a flower blooming on her own agenda.
