Saturdayâs are for playing all day long! With a smile like that, weâd have to say Asa agrees!
A few more shots from camp! They got to visit Steve and see blacksmithing, sit in Santaâs sleigh, and felt the pride of gathering and prepping materials for a fire and seeing it lit with one match, marshmallows all around!
The fabulous Steve Rogers came to visit our camp this week. (Yes he was named by a then two year old girl who loves Captain America). He is a Royal (Ball) Python, an absolute darling, and helped show our group what a snake feels like and moves like and to have an opportunity to get up close and personal. Thanks Steve!
Today there are no more farm camp snack messes to clean up. But also there are no more parfait buffets with teeny champagne grapes. Or campers with serve safe gloves helping create delicious mixes of berries and yogurt at the whims of their peers. Today we long for someone else to serve up snack and we cherish the memories of this yearâs campers.
Our campers are exposed to a variety of healthy snack options through out the week and the build your own parfait is a big hit! These dishes are the proof!
Swipe to see more parfait madness.
The summer isnât endless, but at least the fries are! For the 8th year in a row, we celebrated the last day of our season with a feast at @islandsburgers, and it was downright incredible. THANK YOU CHAMP CREW!
Mmm I wanna linger, mmm a little longer, mmm a little longer here with you.... ð¿ðð¢
Wow... What a whirlwind of a summer weâve had! ð¸ðð»ð Somehow 8 weeks have come and gone. Fall is in the air and soon families will be back to the school year routine.
Today provided a much needed sleep in, and now a good organizational overhaul at the storage unit. Tomorrow Annie flies back to Sweden to teach and travel. With little time to reflect, we would start by saying thank you to each and every camper, parent and staff member who contributed to this wonderful summer. Pictures and memories to follow soon. â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
To the staff team:
This summer would not have been possible without you all.
Everyday you came in and gave 100%. You are appreciated and what better way to hear and see that but from each other.
One of the most powerful thing you can do is respect and honour each other. I hope these messages from your peers shows the impact you have on others.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and THANKYOU!
To the campers & parents:
We want to ThankYou for an amazing summer! For the past 8 weeks, we welcomed returning and new campers, who taught us so much. We made some great connections that we will remember and cherish for years to come.
We appreciate you all and hope to see you again next summer.
