And getting there when you have a significant history of trauma can feel overwhelming. ⁣ ⁣ The thing about healing chronic illness, that many people are finally starting to talk about, is its vast link to childhood trauma. ⁣ ⁣ This is one of the many areas we look at in my work with clients. It’s important to remember you are not alone. ⁣ ⁣ If you can’t see yourself with love right now, take heart dear one. It is possible. ⁣ ⁣ I am living proof. I have an ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) score of 9/10 which is severe.
