Year 3, day 338/365. Knackered and my legs are burning, with Nisha Millet's Swimming Academy. I did my longest freestyle swim today - 400 metres, broken up into 200 metres of the 50 m lap with breaks in between and then 100 metre left/right arm alternating and breathing. Wrapped up class with the slowest ever 100 metres! Coach Rakesh Sarkar shows no mercy, with 400 metres of drill work, kickboard and pull buoy freestyle. I lost the bloody pull buoy on the last 50 metres & couldn’t be bothered to go chase it floating away merrily. It’s commitment phobic, floating away😂 The burn is real today. Legs gone. . . . . Happy Wednesday. . For me, workouts are enjoying the exercises I choose to do, enjoying being in the fitness environment and the physical aspects that come with being in the gym. . When I enjoy it, I focus and push myself but when I don't, I think to myself will I actually bother exercising again? I can't just force myself to do it, even if I see so many people going to the gym or doing a home workout. . I have to ask myself what is going on outside of the gym and what else I needed to be doing. . If you are feeling like you have dropped off the band wagon, it is not because you aren't motivated enough for it, it's just at this present time, things have changed and your priorities are a little different. .
