In their study “The Radical Transformation of Diversity and Inclusion: The Millennial Influence” published by Deloitte University, Christie Smith and Stephanie Turner project that in this coming new decade millennials will make up 75% of the workforce. They also suggest that millennials have a different approach to inclusion than Gen Xrs and Baby Boomers. Therefore it is going to take strong developed leadership that fosters collaborative environments to help millennials fully engage in the workforce. It is also why it is so important to intentionally grow our leadership. Leaders who skilfully facilitate this will lead organisations that benefit from the value of varied backgrounds, experiences, styles & perspectives at the table. Are you growing your leadership?
