These 3 photos were taken before, during and after my 1 year weight loss journey. Growing up as young kid I was always on the chubby side of things. I LOVED junk food so much, that I would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner (literally). It wasn't until August of last year that I really started to notice the effects my poor eating habits caused. I was unhappy with myself, developing insecurities and having negative body imagines. I wasn't going to allow myself to live like this and continue down this gluttonous road, so I made it my mission to lose weight and get in shape. - It took months and months of clean (and sustainable) eating and consistent workouts, where I finally started to see results. It was hard, very hard because sometimes I just wanted to pig out and forget this whole thing. I wanted a donut, a cookie, ANYTHING. But I stuck to what I said I was gonna do and kept at it. It was that dedication and drive that prompted my love for weight lifting and training athletically. So after I lost the amount of weight I desired, I set out yet another mission. To gain as much lean muscle mass as possible, without sacrificing athleticism. - I am now at the point where I've met my goal. I've gain quite a bit of lean muscle mass and have improved my athleticism tremendously, with the help of various fitness influencers and most notably athleanx. So the only thing that's left for me is to keep improving upon that. I've fallen in love with fitness, and plan to be into it for the foreseeable future. - If any of you are still here, and reading this long jumble of words and are unhappy with yourself. I encourage you to do something about it, make goals, make plans on how you're gonna reach them and don't stop until you've hit them. Don't expect to gain a ton of muscle or lose a ton of weight in just of few weeks. Transformations and processes like these take time, consistency and hard work. For those who been following my training, you'll know one goal I've had for most of the year is a 600kg leg press.⁣ ⁣ Well, today I decided to just fucking go for it and got 5 reps. ⁣ ⁣ I genuinely aim to do 6+ but 5 is fine because I know next time I'll beat it. ⁣ ⁣ My question to you is: what goals have you set in the gym this year and how well are you moving TOWARDS them?⁣ ⁣ Here's the thing: if you're not adding weight to the bar or reps to an exercise you are not BUILDING MUSCLE. ⁣ ⁣ In fact, if you're not achieving these things I'm not sure what the fuck you're actually doing with your time???? 🤔⁣ I could give you the best diet and a world class training programme but without hard work it would be utterly pointless.⁣ ⁣ You would literally have the same muscle, strength and definition in a years time. ⁣ ⁣ Be honest. How many guys do you see in a normal gym who look great?⁣ ⁣ A handful, right?⁣ ⁣ Do you want to be one of those? Going through the motions for fucking nothing?⁣ ⁣ Or do you want to be like the men I coach... lean, strong... Progress is never linear; it’s going to be a lot of two steps forward and one step back... and that’s ok! • Two weeks ago the plan was to do 365 handstands in 365 days and to finish cutting in the next 4 weeks. Got sick and injured at the same time, haven’t trained or done handstands in 10 days and had to increase my calories to maintenance.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ • Enjoyed the extra time, ate more food, had a mental break from dieting, and my wrists are very happy... now I’m more than ready to go back 💪🏻😁 it might take me more than 365 days but I will finish the 365 handstands🤸🏻‍♀️ it might take longer than 4 weeks but I will finish my cut💯 • We can’t control everything, things are going to happen. Don’t get frustrated, don’t stress, take all the time off that you need, take that step back and move forward, but stronger 😜

TEMPO! Here’s the thing about tempos..... We suck at them. (Currently). Mostly, Alex freaks out and fails to tempo. (Sorry Zac) BUT, we are getting better! Progress. This is our first attempt at a 4 part tempo, inlocate to shoulders, to h2h, push high, inlocate down. Can you tell Alex wanted to get back to the ground? 🤣😝😉🙃 Finding smooth and coordinated tempo together is hard work, but oh so so so important for higher skills. Do you have any favorite tempo drills? We want to hear them!
