For those wondering when the best time to take succulent cuttings is, it’s whenever! I take snippets of leaves or leading growths throughout the year and the results are near-similar.
The best way for rooting is to allow them to dry out a bit before placing them in soil. I do this by situating them on dry soil for around a week or two, for the callousing of the wound. If they shrivel slightly, dunk them in water momentarily or mist the surrounding soil. Once small roots develop (1cm at least), it’s time to place them in a potting mix that has good amounts of sand and perlite 👍
