Honest opinion. 🤔 - One of the main reasons why people struggle nutritionally is because they aren’t able to see that eating healthy foods CAN taste good! - After all, why do we reach for foods that are high in calories or “junk”? Because we find them delicious. - So, in order to eat more foods like vegetables and lean protein (the stuff that most people under-eat) you must think using that same frame of mind and find the foods that you love, as well as support your goals. - Use seasonings, pair with dressings/sauces, combine foods, develop your skills in the kitchen. - Just don’t go in it all blind. 🙅🏻‍♂️

Stop coming in and trying to lift as heavy as you can as I can tell you right now no one else in the gym gives a shit how much you're lifting. Take an L and turn it into a W . . . So today I forgot my prepped meals and I decided to go to the all you can eat buffet instead. Good idea? No. 6 hours later and I still feel like a bloated POS. Honestly I was kind of upset with myself. I trained legs today and tried to just keep the mindset that my body could use the excessive amount of calories as fuel. . . . Without boring you I’m still disappointed for getting of track but I did notice some nice cuts in my legs today. Although I cannot attribute that victory to one sitting at the China buffet, I can tell you that if you stick to the plan regardless of hiccups... results WILL come. Use setbacks as fuel to push forward.

Today I felt very strong in the gym. The reason being that last week was generally good week for me. It's amazing how mindset can impact your physical ability. • When someone says "I'm sad", it doesn't actually mean that they are sad but rather they are DOING sad. Same with any other emotion. I think it was Tony Robins who said that motion creates emotion. • Think about it, why do you feel so much better when you come out of the gym after a killer workout? It's because you were in motion and moving around heavy sh**. That's the whole point! • Especially if you're a guy on chest days you feel like freaking superman afterwards, don't you? Because your chest is pumped, that's why you stick it out and walk like you own the f**king world. • If you are already in a good mood, the quality of the workout is quite noticeable. For me personally, it makes a difference of 20 pounds in the weight I use on the bar. • So get moving 💪🏼 Not only is sitting around the disease (not only physically, but mentally as well), but moving around is the damn cure! • Now it's your turn. Go crush your next workout.
