I know Iโ€™ve been guilty of speaking ill of others. For the most part, I think we tend to do this to compensate for some insecurity about ourselves and the idea that putting someone else down or picking on them in some way - either directly or behind their back will give us a boost. Really, I can see that it does the opposite. When we speak ill of others, those words act as a mirror to show us something about ourselves. Iโ€™m super thankful to be working from home, still with stable income, etc. Itโ€™s a lot of sitting though.
