The years of infertility, fighting for him, frustrated by Gods timing. The waiting. The loss. To realize Aden’s timing into the world was perfect. That he saved me by almost bleeding to death from his placenta .... it’s a lot guys. I’m still processing. I’m still overwhelmed. And that’s ok. Taking it one day at a time but I’m feeling lighter. It’s wonderful to let my feelings be out in the sun instead of stuffing them down in dark denial. I’m feeling at peace, happy, much more like myself. Year after year. ⏳ . . Real life results in anything only show with years of consistency, not day to day. 💯 . . I am always so grateful that I started lifting consistently 3+ years ago. 👌 . . In the beginning, I wanted the results to be immediately noticeable, but now my focus has shifted to longer term goals. 🎯 . . When I first started lifting I was so intimidated to do anything in the free weights section.👀 . . Now, I feel so comfortable taking up space and claiming a bench without hesitation. 👍 . . Lifting does more then just build my muscles. 👏 . . It builds my discipline, work ethic and confidence. 💋 . . No matter what kinds of stress I walk into the gym with, 1-2 hours of iron therapy later and they are gone.💨 . . The last two months I have taken a break from lifting and maybe hit a muscle group once a week here and there. Spinning has been my outlet. 🚴‍♂️ . . School is in full swing and for some of my clients, this transition has been pretty tricky. So, I thought I'd share a tip that can hopefully help some of you parents! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One thing I've noticed that causes some frustration for kids and parents is feeling overwhelmed by the long to-do list that come with starting school. On top of normal day to day responsibilities, kids have to be at school at a certain time, get their homework done, prepare their backpacks for the day's activities... it can all feel like too much to manage! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For children in grade school, I suggest that parents make a visual calendar that depicts the child's daily activities.
